Public Procurement Specialist — Florence
KatiaPrandi
Administrative law and public procurement
Two decades of experience inside the Italian public administration — contract planning, electronic tender procedures and governance of public procurement.

Profile
A profession at the service of the public interest
Law graduate, I passed the Italian State Examination for the legal profession in 2005. Since 2007 I have served as Public Procurement Specialist at the Central Directorate of ARPAT, the Tuscan Regional Agency for Environmental Protection. I coordinate interdisciplinary working groups and oversee the full procurement cycle, from planning to contract management.
My focus is the improvement of public spending through sound planning of needs, in compliance with the principles of legality, transparency, competition and sustainability. The experience gained within the National System for Environmental Protection translates naturally into institutional settings of advisory work on labour, public economy and market regulation.
